Pikes Peak Writers "Dream" Anthology

I'm pleased to learn my story "Living the Dream (Except for One Thing)" has been accepted for the "Dream" anthology from the Pikes Peak Writers. See the announcement here: https://pikespeakwriters.com/ppw-anthology/

Publication date is expected to be early April, with the cover reveal in a few weeks. Here is the back cover blurb:

Dreams.

They are manifold – resolving subliminal mysteries and creating chaos.

Our dreams are delightful and bold.

Some are lucid, cyclical, and idealistic. They spawn yearning for our past – and foretell our futures.

Do you crave answers or adventure?

Join us.

Step through the veil.

Discover the primordial wisdom of the universe, and the shadows of our dreams.

My story features an implanted personal-assistant AI whose dream is to serve his client in every way possible. However, when his client asks him to research ways to kill his wife, he must struggle with his need to please his client while satisfying his strict ethical programming.

Pikes Peak Writers is one of the best writers’ organizations in the country. Its annual writers conference has routinely been ranked in the Top Ten of Best Conferences by Writers Digest Magazine.

The brainchild of Retired Air Force Colonel Jimmie Butler, PPW started as a conference in 1993 with just 175 story-loving writers who wanted a place to collaborate. Today, PPW is a thriving and all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with more than 2,000 members.

PPW is dedicated to providing quality education for writers, year-round. Beyond the annual conference, PPW hosts free and low-cost events. From monthly writing workshops to Writers Night, there are many fun and educational opportunities for writers of all levels to find inspiration, education, and lifelong friends.
