Review of On Spec #132 Summer 2025

Tangent Magazine has published a review of the stories due to be published in Issue #132 of On Spec, the Canadian online science fiction magazine. My story, "Escape from the Urvara," will appear in this issue. Tangent's reviewer, Victoria Silverwolf, has given her reaction to these stories. For "Escape from the Urvara," she states, "This is a science fiction adventure story, of the kind often found in the pages of Analog. The details of the way the protagonist struggles to solve his problem may be hard to follow for readers who are not technically minded. As in many tales of this kind, the plot is of more importance than the characters. The only one who seems real is the protagonist’s AI."

She notes at the bottom of the review: Victoria Silverwolf is not technically minded.
