On Spec #132 is Now on Sale!

The Copper Pig's Writers' Society has released its latest issue of On Spec, the Canadian magazine of the fantastic. This edition contains nine fictional stories, three nonfiction articles, and seven features that include poems, photos, and comics. The magazine includes my story, "Escape from the Urvara."

The Urvara was the most the most advanced warship ever produced by Ceres during the Machine Revolt, built specifically to capture or kill the Rabid Wolf, the most ruthless and cunning of all the rebel AIs. Lost for a decade, Quinn finds the ship as a tumbling and lifeless derelict. But now he must board the Urvara to discover the fate of his cousin Jasper, who was aboard when it disappeared. What caused the mangled mess of the propulsion system? And whatever happened to the Rabid Wolf? Quinn is determined to solve this mystery once and for all.
